It's the first meal of the day after not eating for a long time: breakfast. It is even said that breakfast is the most important meal of the day. Is that so? And what should you do if you're not much of an eater in the morning?
Fats are out of the question in many diets, but is this right? It has a lot of functionalities and is therefore certainly indispensable: fat is a source of energy, vitamins A, D, E, essential fatty acids and provides an insulating layer1. In addition, fats have an essential function in the body, as they are the building blocks of hormones. Putting this product group aside as 'malicious' is therefore not at all justified2.
